Some notable projects.

Interior Designer, Associates in Building & Design, Ltd.

As an Interior Designer at ABD, I prioritize building strong client relationships by actively listening to their needs and vision for the space, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the process. I take the time to understand their style preferences, budget, and timeline to create designs that truly reflect their personality and lifestyle. My drafting process involves translating these ideas into detailed floor plans, electrical plans, and 3D renderings that provide a clear visual representation of the design. Coordination with trades and project managers is essential, and I work closely with contractors, electricians, and other specialists to ensure the design is executed smoothly and on schedule. By overseeing every aspect of the project, from the initial concept to the final installation, I ensure that all elements come together harmoniously, exceeding client expectations while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.

Capstone.

IN THE EMBRACE COMMUNITY CENTER, the embodiment of acceptance and inclusivity remains the top priority. Through this feeling of belonging and opportunity, community members in Paso Robles, CA will be encouraged to grow both mentally and physically. People from different paths can join together, embrace each other, and work towards a collective goal of improvement and unity. The community center consists of two buildings - the Athletic Center and the Resource Center - which sit approximately 400 feet away from each other.

Internship and YCID.

For my summer internship while in school (May 2022 - August 2022), I had the opportunity to intern at Yvette Chaix Interior Design. During this internship, I was assigned a wide array of tasks. These included creating schedules, mood boards, elevations, and floor plans, as well as keeping the office, materials, and storage organized and easily accessible. Below is some of the work I did.

Crate & Barrel.

As a designer at Crate & Barrel, I was responsible for doing in-home, in-store, and occasional over-the-phone appointments to help clients figure out how to design their homes with our furniture. Deliverables for clients included mood boards, floor plans, and renderings. I also provided them with quotes and keep updated on their orders, ensuring they were completed without issue.

Bali Resort.

Located in the hills of Ubud, this resort allows for a chance for relaxation and growth. A release from the hold of fear. An embrace of opportunity. The experience allows one to be let go from what has been keeping them trapped and in turn encourages them to take each opportunity to seek the beauty around them. This resort includes encouragements to explore, strong aspects of verticality while still embracing curve and ease. It allows the user moments to break free and absorb their surroundings with havens that rest above the hills and take in the enchanting views.

Monarch Academy.

Monarch Academy is a group project I participated in as part of the 2022 Solar Decathlon. The challenge was to create an elementary school that focused on reaching sustainability needs and requirements.

My contributions: developing the concept, working on the Revit model and floor plan, rendering, and creating both the posters and a booklet for presentation.

Custom Luminaire.

'A luminaire that is a statement piece both on and off.'

By using canvas, paints, repurposed wood, and eagerness to challenge myself, I was able to construct a luminaire that would create a calming light when turned on as well as add decor during the day when not in use.
